“Hic Sunt Draconis” - Feb 29, 2008

February 5th, 2008 by Bruce

When ancient cartographers ran out of known world on a map, they would mark the unknown edges with “Hic Sunt Draconis” or “Here Be Dragons” to signify the home of the unknown or mythical beasts. Myths still exist in fly fishing today–some true and others not. Our own mythbuster Jeff Sadler will be speaking on myths in fly fishing and will attempt to bring modern scientific enlightenment to bear on them. Bring your own myths and mysteries for discussion and/or busting.

Note the meetings are held on Fridays at 7:00 p.m. in the Recreation Park Social Hall, which is South of 7th Street and a little west of the clubhouse. Just look for the parking lot with all of the SUV’s and trucks in it.
